Twin Historic Bridges
Twin-sister bridges, each near the Montana/North Dakota state line, one at Fairview, MT/ND (border splits town), spanning the Yellowstone, and the Snowden Bridge near Nohly, MT, crossing the Missouri. Both were creative 'lift span' bridges, built in 1913 to accomodate steamboat traffic, which ironically, had almost disappeared by the time they were finished!
