Istanbul4 - Topkapi Palace

Pat and I visited Topkapi Palace on our own, which worked out great (she could listen to the historical backgrounds on her audio device, I could take pictures as I wished!). What a palace!! Home to the last of the Ottoman sultans, and has four courtyards, making it a beautiful (as well as huge) interior in the walled city almost. Pat (yes, Pat!) was particularly fascinated by the Harem quarters!! Followed this with a quick stop at the Spice Market. (See pics in Istanbul3.)
