Cinque Terre!
Cinque Terre - literally the "five lands", or five cities. These incredibly beautiful little villages all lie within hiking distance of each other, and all are situated on bluffs overlooking the Mediterrean on the Italian Riviera!! Just incredible.
From south to north the towns are Riomaggorie (#1), Manarola (#2), Corniglia (#3), Vernazza (#4), and Monterosso (#5). They will frequently be referred to by number, rather than name. :-)
